                          KRootPict 0.2
			 ===============

 This is an alpha code. It may even not compile on your system.
 So far it was only tested on my computer, where it works fine.

 KRootPict is a simple program which repeatedly changes wallpaper
 of your desktop. You can set the interval of change in minutes.

 Program is a front-end to programs like XV.
 You have to create a file, in which you specify the names of picture
 files and some additional parameters. An example of such file is RNDPICS.

 I recommend to get XV, which can display wallpaper in many different ways.
 I personaly use it, and enclosed RNDPICS file is also in format suitable
 for XV.

 In case you do not have it, do the following :
    1. define different command in settings dialog
    2. in picture file specify each line as a command line for your program

INSTALLATION
=============

   1.
	configure;
	make;
	make install

   2.
	KDE uses kbgndwm to display wallpapers on each desktop.
	If you want to use KRootPict, I recommend you to comment out the
	line which starts kbgndwm in startkde script. Otherwise each time
	you switch desktop, KDE will repaint it with some color or whatever
	you have set in Control Center.

USING
======

    1. invoke krootpict - it docks into kpanel.
    2. Right click - menu.
    3. Left click - change background immediately
